Tree Surveying

“From the crown down”

Covering Canterbury, Otago and the Mackenzie Districts

A tree survey is a survey that is performed with the goal of being to provide useful information on trees so that land owners, councils, property managers and homeowners can make informed decisions based on the information that they receive from the survey.

The survey will inform you with information on:

  • The species of the tree.

  • The age and physical measurements of the tree such as height and diameter.

  • Life expectancy and retention value.

  • We can advise on the long term care and maintenance of your trees.

  • Any safety issues, compliance or new property purchases.

  • We can install cable bracing.

  • Provide and maintain root protection zones for developments.

  • The presence of rot or any fungal fruiting bodies.

Land Logistics trained and qualified arboriculturalists will present the information in an easy to understand manner. All trees will be geo tagged with specific coronates, individual tags and numbers. These numbers can then be cross referenced on our special summary table, which reveals the meanings of these tags and numbers and any residual works can then take place.
